Job summary

Bupa is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to support our Kitchen Team at St Mark's in Taplow. You will craft varied, nutritious menus using fresh ingredients while adhering to HACCP and COSHH standards, and help manage meal prep and service for residents.

The role is part-time and on-site, offering flexible benefits including health support, paid leave, and staff discounts. Previous fresh food experience preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking with previous experience working in a fresh food kitchen and relevant hygiene certificates.
• You want to create and deliver an excellent dining experience at each meal and make our residents feel at home.

Responsibilities

• Using your passion for cooking and fresh ingredients to create varied and nutritional menus in line with dietary needs and preferences of residents.
• Putting forward ideas to deliver an excellent dining experience, helping residents feel at home.
• Training and managing the kitchen team in prepping, cooking and serving of food.
• Adhering to COSHH and HACCP guidelines, company policies and procedures, budgets, managing orders and deliveries.
• Catering for special events or seasonal activities.
