Job summary

Brentwood Care Centre is recruiting an Assistant Chef to join their friendly team. This 30-hour contract is worked over a 7-day rota, including some weekends and Bank Holidays. You will assist the Head Chef, ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety, and support dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and assist the Head Chef.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in the kitchen and manage workloads.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
• Adhere to SOPs and Health & Safety regulations.
• Understand and accommodate dietary needs for residents.
• Carry out additional duties as required by the General Manager.
