Job summary

Busy Bees in Bishops Stortford is seeking an Assistant Chef to join our nursery team. You will prepare healthy, child-friendly meals and support the Chef in running the kitchen in line with safety and nutrition standards.

You'll work in a nurturing setting within the Early Years sector, benefit from flexible hours alongside development opportunities, and help deliver meals that support children's growth while enjoying a supportive team and onsite facilities.

• Ideal candidate has leadership experience in early years settings.
• Strong mentoring and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements for children.

• Support meal preparation and assist in the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
