Oaklands House in Southwold, Suffolk, is seeking a dedicated cook to join our kitchen team in our care home serving 29 residents. You will help manage the kitchen when the Head Chef is away, prepare nutritious meals, and support menu planning and stock control with a focus on high standards.
Ideal candidates have professional kitchen experience, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of kitchen hygiene.

Oaklands House is located in the seaside town of Southwold in Suffolk. The house is surrounded by five acres of mature woodland. Inside the home is a handsome entrance hall which leads on to a number of exquisite reception rooms. The stunning south-facing conservatory is ideal for peace and quiet but is also a popular meeting place for residents and guests. What would a typical day look like?
The successful candidate will have experience in working in a professional kitchen, have good organisational skills and knowledge of good kitchen practices and food hygiene standards. City and Guilds or NVQ qualifications are preferred but not essential as they can be provided through our Academy.
