Job summary

Housing Plus Group is seeking a kitchen/catering assistant to prepare nutritious meals for ShireLiving residents. The role covers a 7-day rota with 30 hours per week from 07:00 to 15:00, based in Whitchurch, SHIRE area.

You will help deliver catering services with a focus on safety, presentation, and resident wellbeing. You will manage kitchen operations, track inventory, place orders, train staff, and ensure high sanitation standards while maintaining a friendly approach to residents and

• Experience in catering for residents or similar settings.
• Ability to manage kitchen operations and inventory.
• Open to new ideas and creative cooking.

Our ShireLiving or supported housing facilities provide people over 55 years old a safe, secure, and caring environment. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will become a key part of the team to deliver catering services to our residents. Our scheme in Whitchurch, Shropshire has 70 apartments that may be single or double occupied.
