Job summary

The Wrekin Housing Group Limited is recruiting a part-time permanent Catering Assistant for Maywood. You will prepare nutritious, balanced meals for ShireLiving residents, working a 30-hour week on a 7-day rota from 07:00 to 15:00.

You will order supplies, keep the kitchen clean, train new staff, and help maintain high standards of food safety and customer care in a welcoming, supportive environment for residents aged 55 and over.

Qualifications

  • Experience in ordering supplies and carrying out stock takes.
  • Ability to create nutritious, well-presented meals.
  • Open to new ideas and thinking out of the box.
  • Follows processes and procedures with creativity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare quality food for residents.

  • Clean and organise the food prep area.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will become a key part of the team to deliver catering services to our residents. Our scheme in Maywood has 52 apartments that may be single or double occupied.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing quality food
