Job summary

Blue Cross is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager in Weybridge on a 9-month fixed term, part time (14 hours over 2 days). This role offers the chance to support a great cause by turning donations into impact while helping run a busy charity shop.

You will work with the Shop Manager to drive sales, manage volunteers, recruit and train new volunteers, and ensure excellent customer service while merchandising and maintaining stock integrity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a retail environment.
• Cash handling and reconciliation experience.
• Experience of leading a team.
• Experience of providing great customer experience.
• Computer and administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Shop Manager and lead volunteers to drive sales.
• Assist with recruitment and training of new volunteers.
• Merchandise and source donations to maximise shop turnover.
• Provide excellent customer service to purchasers and donors.
