Teaching Vacancies is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager to support our school kitchen. You will help prepare fresh, healthy meals, manage daily kitchen operations, and lead the team in the Catering Manager’s absence. A calm, organized leader with strong communication is essential.

We can be flexible on start times (7.30am option) and require an enhanced DBS for the role. The position is in Portsmouth, offering a rewarding environment for staff and pupils.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a busy kitchen or school catering environment.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of health, safety and allergens guidelines.
• Strong leadership and communication with children and adults.
• Calm, organized approach and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities
