Job summary

The King's Academy is seeking an Assistant Catering Manager (Chef) to prepare and cook the main meals of the day and to assist and deputise for the Catering Manager in organising and managing the work of the catering team.

This role supports our school’s daily life with meals for students, staff and visitors, and opportunities to contribute to catering events; applications will be reviewed as they are received, and we expect high standards of attitude, work ethic and diligence from all staff.

About This Role

The King's Academy's kitchen is at the heart of daily school life, with our catering team producing hundreds of healthy, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors every day, and catering for special events within the academic year. The Assistant Catering Manager (Chef) prepares and cooks the main meals of the day and assists and deputises for the Catering Manager in the organization and management of the work of the catering team.
