Shifts: Mix of early and late shifts

Responsibilities:

• Organise and supervise food preparation and service
• Ensure catering services comply with all food hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Lead and manage catering staff daily
• Support Catering Manager in staff training and development
• Maintain control systems and records for stock
• Manage stock levels to minimise wastage
• Resolve customer and employee complaints effectively
• Develop and maintain client relationships through regular communication
• Attend scheduled training, possibly outside normal hours
• Comply with all health and safety practices, including manual handling
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and contractual provisions
• Perform additional operational tasks as required
• For Education Establishments: comply with Safeguarding regulations

Qualifications:

• NVQ in supervision and leadership
• For Education: satisfactory Enhanced DBS or security clearance, Barred List Check
