Grade UE05: £29,179 to £33,482 per annum plus a 15% premium band for flexible working
Location: Accommodation, Catering and Events/Pollock Halls of Residence
Full-time: 35 hours per week on a 5 over 7 basis
Type: Open-ended (permanent)
The University of Edinburgh Hospitality and Events Collection is the commercial arm of the university, including the conference and events team. We deliver a broad range of conferences, meetings, and events (~2,000 annually) across the university's venues and operate large outside catering and hospitality services for university and external clients.
The Assistant Catering and Events Operations Manager influences product development, inspires confidence, and builds effective relationships while ensuring the operations team works efficiently and maintains exemplary service standards. The role requires experience in a complex environment, a passion for hospitality, self-motivation, strong management skills, and flexibility in working hours.
