Job summary

Hozelock is seeking an Assistant Category Manager to join our Marketing team in the UK. You will work with the Category Manager on category plans, research, and lifecycle management across our product portfolio while developing commercial and analytical skills in a collaborative environment.

The role is full-time, based at our Sutton Coldfield office with four days onsite and one day of remote work per week, offering real exposure to product development and market analysis in a market‑leading

Qualifications

• A degree in Marketing, Business, Product Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in marketing, commercial, retail, administrative, or product roles is helpful but not essential.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Experience with Power BI, SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights activities.
• Assist with product lifecycle management including launches, updates, range reviews, and discontinuations.
• Help maintain product data, pricing information, and category reporting.
• Support development of new product ideas and commercial opportunities.
• Assist with planning and coordinating product launch activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analysis to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Category function.
