We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 4-5 years of category management experience in reputable FMCG food or beverage organizations, including at least 1 year in an assistant manager role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Category Strategy Formulation and Portfolio Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the sauces product category aligned with overall business objectives. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential risks.
2. Product Development and Innovation: Develop new products or innovate from concept to launch. Collaborate with procurement, R&D, technical services, manufacturing, quality assurance, and Global Marketing to ensure quality, regulatory compliance, and product excellence.
3. Market Analysis & Insights: Support strategic planning through market intelligence, consumer preferences, competitive landscape, and emerging trends analysis.
4. Sales, Revenue, and Profitability Management: Partner with sales teams to implement sales plans and promotional activities to meet revenue targets. Monitor performance and recommend improvements.
5. Marketing and Branding: Collaborate with Brand & Digital Marketing teams on campaigns, advertising, and brand positioning.
6. Financial Analysis: Manage the category budget, including cost control, pricing, and profitability analysis. Use data to optimize performance.
7. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, food safety standards, and quality protocols. Prepare for future regulatory changes to sustain growth across Europe.
