Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is hiring a full-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams. The role is contracted to 35 hours per week with afternoon shifts, delivering high standards of hygiene across client environments.

You will work alongside our teams to maintain safety and cleanliness, with responsibilities including dusting, mopping, sanitising surfaces and restocking supplies. A flexible attitude and strong organisational skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cleaners role is preferred, though not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organised.
• Reliable, flexible and with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including mopping spillages quickly.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

We're currently recruiting a full time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Compass Group UK&I, contracted to 35 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help to deliver on our promise to always create the best and brightest experiences for our clients and customers. If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role you'll shine in, we've got the position for you.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

• Mon: Afternoons
• Tues: Afternoons
• Weds: Afternoons
• Thurs: Afternoons
• Fri: Afternoons

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
