Job summary

Compass Group UK is recruiting a full-time Cleaner to join our 14Forty cleaning and facilities teams for 37.5 hours per week. The role involves supporting clients and customers with high hygiene standards across designated sites.

Shifts are Mon-Fri mornings; you will dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitise surfaces, and restock supplies. You should be organised, hands-on, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Keep environments safe and hygienic for clients and customers.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop, and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Sanitise surface areas, floors, windows and touchpoints regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as required, including mopping spillages.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to ensure adequate stock.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.

Our ideal Cleaner will:

• Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a hands-on role
• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential
• Have a flexible approach to working
