Role: Menswear Assistant Buyer

Type: Full-time

Location: Kingston-Upon-Thames

Purpose of the Role

The Assistant Buyer supports the Buyer in delivering the Crew product range to drive profitable sales growth, managing the process to ensure collections are priced appropriately and produced to quality standards aligned with department and business expectations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of product development
• Buy and develop ranges in line with strategy
• Contract orders to suppliers and manage critical path
• Oversee range plan accuracy
• Manage samples and oversee fit sessions
• Develop ranges to meet margin and supply targets
• Manage critical path and liaise with suppliers and sourcing
• Produce market and competitor reports
• Present ranges for approval
• Monitor sales performance and understand cost structures

Key Skills and Experience

• Experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word
• Ability to manage deadlines and build supplier relationships
• Team player with the ability to work independently
