Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking an Executive & Leadership Support professional to back the Chief of Staff (People) and the leadership team. The role translates priorities into execution, linking strategy, operations and communications to ensure the function runs effectively.

You will work with senior stakeholders, contribute to leadership forums, and help deliver the People strategy across the firm, balancing governance, planning and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a business management, project management, or chief of staff support role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and/or leadership teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Highly proactive, with strong problem‑solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chief of Staff in driving key priorities across the People function.
  • Coordinate ExCo and senior leadership materials (papers, agendas, follow‑ups).
  • Track actions and commitments, ensuring delivery against deadlines.
  • Support business planning, tracking and reporting across the function.
  • Maintain key management information (scorecards, metrics, dashboards).
  • Assist with budgeting, invoicing and financial tracking.
  • Help ensure strong governance and control across activities.
  • Support delivery of priority projects (e.g., engagement surveys, People initiatives, transformation programmes).
  • Coordinate inputs across teams and ensure alignment to timelines.
  • Identify risks and proactively resolve issues.
  • Support internal communications for the People function and leadership updates.
  • Help shape clear, consistent messaging across channels.
  • Coordinate key events, off‑sites and leadership forums.
  • Act as a key point of coordination across People, Finance, Communications and other functions.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Help ensure alignment across competing priorities.

Job description

This is a high-impact, highly visible role supporting the Chief of Staff (People) and the wider leadership team. You’ll help translate priorities into execution—connecting strategy, operations and communications to ensure the function runs effectively.
