Global Construction Consultancy in London is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor to join its team, working across a wide range of project and professional Building Surveying services.

For those pursuing MRICS, this role offers hands-on experience, strong APC support, and a track record of 100% first-time APC pass rate for nine years, with exposure to public and private sector work.

Qualifications

• RICS-accredited Building Surveying degree.
• Currently working towards MRICS status (Building Surveying pathway).
• Previous Building Surveying experience within a consultancy environment (18 months+)
• Exposure to project and/or professional Building Surveying services.
• Strong technical grounding with a genuine desire to continue developing.
• Ambitious to achieve MRICS and build a long-term career within Building Surveying.
• Collaborative, proactive approach with a strong team ethic.

Responsibilities

• Work across a broad mix of project and professional Building Surveying instructions.
• Undertake building condition surveys, defect diagnosis and technical due diligence.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work and technical reports.
• Support and deliver refurbishment, maintenance and capital projects.
• Gain hands-on Contract Administration and Project Management experience.
• Work across JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Work directly with a varied portfolio of public and private sector clients.
• Build the breadth of experience and competencies required to achieve MRICS status.
