Job summary

Insignis Talent is seeking an Assistant Building Surveyor in Southampton to join a growing team delivering surveys, inspections and schedules across Defence, Blue Light, Education and Housing sectors.

You will work on projects from £10k to £3m, applying JCT and NEC contracts, preparing technical documents and reports, and supporting senior staff while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or an equivalent RICS-accredited degree.
• Solid building surveying experience with practical technical knowledge.
• Experience communicating with clients and project stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of technical reports, specifications and surveys.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and statutory compliance.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to developing your career.
