PZ Cussons (UK) Ltd is seeking an Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing in Manchester. You will help shape the brand's growth plan, develop integrated campaigns, and translate consumer insights into commercial action.

You’ll work within a close-knit brand team and collaborate across the marketing function to drive market share and brand equity. You’ll bring experience in marketing or brand management, with strong planning, communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, brand management or a similar role.
• Campaigns from planning through to delivery.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and familiarity with marketing tools and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver parts of the brand's 12‑month growth plan to grow market share.
• Bring integrated campaigns to life across channels with consistent experiences.
• Develop brand communications, in-store execution and shopper plans to increase visibility.
• Turn brand performance, market data and consumer insight into actionable recommendations.
• Build understanding of brand P&L, monthly reporting and KPIs to ground decisions in performance.

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you’ll help shape what’s next for one of our much-loved brands: Original Source, Childs Farm or Cussons. You’ll turn brand strategy into marketing that gets noticed, supporting growth plans, integrated campaigns and shopper activity that strengthen the brand and drive market share growth. Working within a close-knit brand team and alongside our wider marketing function, you’ll bring together consumer insight, commercial thinking and creativity to turn ideas into action. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Shape and deliver key parts of the brand's 12-month growth plan, helping strengthen brand equity and grow market share. Bring integrated campaigns to life across channels, creating consistent experiences that build consumer engagement and support sales growth. Develop brand communications, in-store execution and shopper plans that make the brand visible, distinctive and memorable. Turn brand performance, market data and consumer insight into clear recommendations that keep plans relevant and competitive. Build understanding of the brand P&L, monthly M&C reporting and KPIs so decisions are grounded in commercial performance. Protect the brand's positioning and standards while briefing agencies and supporting digital platforms and the customer care journey.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

Experience in marketing, brand management or a similar role, with involvement in campaigns from planning through to delivery. Confidence using market research, consumer insight and performance data to spot opportunities and shape action. Strong project management and organisation, with the ability to keep several priorities moving without losing attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication, plus experience working with agencies or external partners. Creative problem-solving and the confidence to champion new ideas, challenge convention and work through ambiguity. Commercial awareness, including financial literacy, and familiarity with marketing tools and digital channels.
