Job summary

Bennetts is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily running of a busy branch. You will work with the Branch Manager to steer operations, boost sales and deliver excellent customer service while promoting branch efficiency.

You will need strong leadership, knowledge of car parts or services, and the ability to drive performance and team development. Hours typically Monday to Friday with Saturday rotation, in the UK.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management experience.
• Experience working to sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong customer service skills and communication abilities.
• IT literacy with stock control or sales systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in daily operations, including sales, logistics and customer service
• Lead and develop branch staff to drive performance
• Maintain high standards of customer service and branch efficiency
• Monitor and work towards sales targets, KPIs and profitability
• Assist with stock management, ordering and stock control
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely parts distribution
• Handle customer queries, complaints and complex sales
• Ensure health & safety compliance and company policies
• Act as Branch Manager when required
• Contribute to local marketing and trade account development initiatives
