Job summary

Bennetts is seeking a Branch Manager to run daily branch operations, drive sales, and lead a team of staff across sales, service and logistics. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining stock accuracy, and achieving branch targets within a busy automotive parts environment.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in the motor trade, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while upholding high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a management or supervisory role in the motor trade.
• Strong understanding of automotive parts, operations or aftersales.
• Excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Commercial acumen and a results-driven approach.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
• IT literate, with experience using stock and sales systems.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all branch operations, including sales, customer service, warehouse and logistics
• Drive branch performance to meet or exceed sales, profit and service targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers
• Oversee stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracy
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of staff including sales advisors, warehouse operatives and drivers
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and deal with escalated queries or complaints professionally
• Monitor and analyse branch KPIs, reporting performance to senior management
• Ensure all operational and health & safety procedures are followed
• Support marketing and local business development activities
• Recruit, train, and retain high-performing staff
