Job summary

Jewson, part of STARK Building Materials UK, is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager for our Peterborough site. You will support the Branch Manager, lead a small team, and ensure excellent service to customers in-store and over the phone.

This role offers a competitive salary, staff discounts, 34 days holiday, and opportunities for career growth. Hours are Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings.

Responsibilities

• Act as first line support to the Branch Manager to lead and support the team to deliver success.
• Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (face to face and over the phone).
• Know our product lines and services to advise customers and provide proactive solutions.
• Use in-house systems to process orders, organise deliveries and keep customers updated.
• Maintain stock levels with regular stock counts.
• Lead your team to prioritise Health & Safety and safe working practices.
