Job description

Placed by Leon is partnering with one of the world’s most prestigious luxury watch Maisons to appoint an Assistant Boutique Manager for its London boutique within a leading luxury department store.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, highly experienced team in a key leadership position, with people management at the heart of the role.

Working closely with the Boutique Director, you’ll take a hands-on role in the boutique's day-to-day leadership, coaching and developing the team, driving performance, setting standards, and ensuring the operation runs seamlessly in a fast-paced, highly demanding luxury environment.

The team itself is experienced, so we’re looking for someone with the confidence and credibility to lead established individuals and manage different personalities. You’ll be an engaging and supportive leader, but equally comfortable providing clear direction, managing performance and having difficult conversations when required.

Alongside your people responsibilities, you’ll help drive the boutique's commercial performance, maintain exceptional operational standards, and build meaningful relationships with a discerning, high-net-worth clientele.

• Strong and demonstrable people-management experience within a luxury environment
• A confident, hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, develop and hold people accountable
• Experience managing performance and navigating challenging situations
• Strong commercial awareness and operational discipline
• Exceptional clienteling and relationship-building skills
• A genuine passion for luxury, craftsmanship and delivering an elevated client experience
• Experience could come from luxury fashion/ready-to-wear, watches, fine jewellery, luxury home or premium/high-end technology

Previous watch experience is not essential; what matters is a strong luxury background, proven leadership capability, and the ability to operate confidently in an elevated, high-performance environment.

Up to £65,000 + Pool & Individual Commission + great company benefits.
