At Sloane, a luxury London bar in Chelsea, seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to lead a high-profile team and deliver an elegant, precise guest experience. You will partner with Bar and General Managers to oversee daily operations, beverage programming, and staff development in a vibrant, design-led property.

The role requires a strong hospitality background, a Personal Licence, and a passion for curated experiences.

Qualifications

• Hospitality role in luxury property.
• Fluent English; French beneficial.
• Holder of a Personal Licence.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wines and champagne (WSET level 2/3 preferred).
• Natural host with magnetic presence and engaging style.
• Operationally sharp with financial awareness.
• Experience leading high-performing teams.
• Calm, detail-obsessed and impeccably presented.
• Knowledge of UK H&S, licensing and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations and align with other services.
• Support beverage programming and menu development.
• Train and mentor bar team; maintain SOPs and tastings.
• Lead on guest engagement, upselling and service standards.
• Assist in rostering, budgeting, inventory, and cost control.
• Monitor guest feedback and ensure consistent brand experience.
