Job summary

House of Louie, in the heart of the West End, is seeking an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager and lead day-to-day bar operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences.

You will mentor the bar team, uphold high standards, manage training, stock and cost control, and take ownership on shifts in a premium, high-volume hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Bar Manager or Supervisor, or strong Senior Bartender.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a bar team in a premium setting.
• Passion for drinks, guest experience, and high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bar Manager in day-to-day bar operations.
• Lead and motivate the bar team during service.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences with high standards.
• Support training and development of bartenders and junior staff.
• Maintain cocktail quality, presentation, cleanliness and service.
• Assist with stock, ordering, wastage control and cost awareness.
• Help implement bar standards, procedures, and processes.
• Take responsibility for bar operation in Bar Manager’s absence.

What We’re Looking For

House of Louie is looking for an experienced and passionateAssistant Bar Managerto support the leadership and day-to-day running of our bar operation.

Working closely with the Bar Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the bar operates to the highest standards across service, drinks, team performance, and guest experience. You’ll be a confident and hands‑on leader who leads by example, supports the team on shift, and helps create an energetic and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager, Supervisor, or strong Senior Bartender who is ready to step into a greater leadership role within a premium, high‑volume hospitality environment.

You’ll support the Bar Manager with the day‑to‑day operation of the bar, helping to maintain exceptional service standards, develop the team, and ensure consistency across every shift. • Take responsibility for the bar operation in the Bar Manager’s absence.
• Work closely with the wider management team to ensure a seamless experience across House of Louie.
