Job summary

Handelsbanken in Hertford is seeking an Assistant Banking Manager to join our branch team. The role involves account administration of new and existing customers, significant direct customer contact, electronic banking involvement, and supporting the inward transfer process while maintaining high service standards.

You will work with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships with local clients and professionals, and contribute to achieving the branch business

Responsibilities

• Prepare facility letters and account documentation.
• Process lending facilities from credit approval through drawdown with lawyers and valuers.
• Conduct internal and external liaison to maintain high service standards.
• Perform ongoing and annual account reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain strong customer contact and support branch with daily responsibilities.
• Support branch marketing initiatives and build long-term relationships with local professionals.
