About Mapped Recruitment

Mapped Recruitment is delighted to be working with a fast-growing retail brand with an iconic and expanding stocklist on their search for an all-rounded accounts assistant to join their team permanently.

Candidate Requirements

Successful candidates must have experience working within a retail (stock environment), ideally with an understanding of finance within a D2C e-commerce, wholesale, or concession environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reporting to the Finance Manager
2. Managing accounts payable and receivable duties
3. Processing invoices, expenses, and payment runs
4. Reconciling monthly supplier statements
5. Bank reconciliations
6. Credit control
7. Supporting with year-end audit and month-end duties
8. Assisting with ad hoc projects, including implementing new systems and procedures

Key Requirements:

1. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role covering both sides of the ledger
2. Experience in the retail industry, preferably fashion
3. Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment
4. Willingness to be hands-on with AP/AR duties and other tasks
5. A finance qualification (AAT or part-qualified) is advantageous but not essential

Additional Details:

This role is based in London, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote. Interviews are scheduled to take place ASAP.
