• Strong knowledge of monthly/period end processes.
• Experience delivering accounts to trial balance.
• Proficient Excel skills and experience with accounting software.
• Organised, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts to trial balance stage.
• Post and reconcile journals.
• Accruals and prepayments.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation journals.
• Support cashflow monitoring and reporting activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions are accurately reflected within the accounts.
• Assist in maintaining robust financial controls and procedures.
• Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager and wider finance team.
