Silcom Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dynamic and growing company with sites based in Kidderminster and Stourbridge. An Assistant Accountant is sought to join their finance team, contributing to the success of both sites.

The role supports monthly and annual accounts for three sites, reports to the Site Accountant, and handles daily cashiering, banking, debt collection, purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, dealer composites, and vehicle profit review.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for monthly and annual accounts.
• Ability to handle cashing and banking tasks accurately.
• Willingness to learn the company's good practice guide.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the monthly and annual production of accounts for three sites.
• Report directly to the Site Accountant responsible for three sites.
• Become familiar with the company's good practice guide.
• Accurately and promptly handle daily cashiering and banking tasks.
• Assist in the collection of debts related to vehicles, aftersales, and manufacturers.
• Help process purchase invoices.
• Aid in reconciling bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
• Contribute to the completion of dealer composites.
• Monitor and process vehicle bonus payments.
• Review vehicle profits as needed.
• Process payments within the authorised limit.
• Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.
