Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee multiple motor-trade dealerships in the West Midlands. You will lead site accountants and coordinate the central Administration department to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The role requires a strong background in the motor industry, overseeing multiple brands and franchises, with responsibility for improving financial processes and ensuring timely submissions. A company car is included in the package.

Qualifications

• Must be an existing Senior Dealership Accountant / Financial Controller / Finance Manager in a multi franchise environment.
• Extensive knowledge of the motor trade.
• Detailed understanding of CDK Drive.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly management accounts for multiple sites.
• Submit manufacturer composites as required.
• Reconcile balance sheets and address any issues.
• Oversee assets to maximise efficiency.
• Generate and circulate routine management reports.
• Identify areas for improvement across the business.
• Maintain working knowledge and development of the CDK system.

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment seek an experienced finance professional to join an established motor trade dealership group based in the West Midlands. This is a superb opportunity to join a growing, yet highly profitable business.

Our client seeks an experienced Finance Controller, or an accomplished Dealership Accountant to oversee multiple sites within the group, with a proven motor trade background, you will be responsible for overseeing the individual business accountants, as well as the centralised Administration department.

Based in the West Midlands, our client is an award winning, privately owned, highly profitable company. Representing multiple brands across multiple sites. Therefore, the ideal candidate will possess exposure to multiple franchises.

Duties will include:

• Management Accounts are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Manufacturer composites are submitted as required
• All balance sheets are reconciled with any areas of concern identified and actioned
• All assets of the business are managed as efficiently as possible
• Routine management reports are generated and circulated as required
• Proactively identify areas of potential improvement throughout the business
• Current working knowledge of, and ongoing development of the CDK system

Experience Required:

• Must be an existing Senior Dealership Accountant / Financial Controller / Finance Manager in a multi franchise environment.
• Extensive knowledge of the motor trade.
• Detailed understanding of CDK Drive.

The Package:

£50,000-£57,500 Basic Salary. £5,000 Bonus + Company Car
