Job summary

Bright Search Recruitment (Pty) Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant. A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required, with 25 years' experience in an assistant accounting role and month-end reconciliations.

Advantageous: studying towards SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA/ACCA, IFRS knowledge, payroll/tax reconciliations, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Sage, Xero, SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Studying towards SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA, ACCA or similar qualification advantageous.
• 25 years' experience in an assistant accountant or accounting role.
• Experience with month-end processes and reconciliations.
• Experience in corporate or professional finance environment preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with multiple accounting software.
