Job summary

Mitchell Adam are partnering with a well-established international manufacturing business to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. The role combines transactional finance with exposure to management accounts.

You will handle AP and AR, assist with month-end, and support payment runs, invoicing and credit control. This is an ideal step for someone studying ACCA or CIMA, within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience across Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in a finance environment.
• Understanding of core accounting principles and transactional finance processes.
• Exposure to month-end or management accounts.
• Strong attention to detail with an organised and reliable approach.
• Desirable to be studying ACCA/CIMA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and contribute to the month-end process.
• Handle purchase and sales ledgers including invoice processing.
• Manage payment runs, customer accounts and credit control.
