Job summary

Responsibilities

• Own your sales and purchase ledgers, keeping collections and supplier payments on track.
• Allocate receipts and run monthly direct debit collections.
• Post bank transactions, reconcile accounts and keep an eye on cash flow.
• Run credit checks and chase overdue accounts.
• Support month-end, year-end and audit, and cover for your colleague when needed.

Assistant Accountant

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a well-established international consumer brand based in Notting Hill, London, paying £35,000. Our client supplies retail and trade customers across the UK and Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, supportive finance team, take real ownership of day-to-day finance and report directly to senior management. You’ll work alongside an experienced accounts colleague, with support from an external accountant. The role is office based for a three-month probation, then hybrid with one day a week from home.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Own your sales and purchase ledgers, keeping collections and supplier payments on track

Salary & Benefits
