Venture Recruitment Partners is recruiting for an Assistant Accountant in Andover to join a growing international organisation. The role offers a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office) and a clear path for development and professional study support.

You will assist with month-end, postings, reconciliations, and tax compliance across multiple entities, collaborating with finance teams across the EMEA region to drive accuracy and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong transactional finance experience within an accounting or finance role.
• Proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Genuine desire to learn, develop, and progress within finance.
• Confidence to work with colleagues across different countries and cultures.
• Ideally AAT qualified or halfway through your AAT.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end processes and ensure accuracy of financial information across multiple entities.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the EMEA region for consistency and best practice.
• Contribute to process improvements and growth of the finance function.
