Job summary

Axon Moore in the United Kingdom is seeking a motivated junior finance assistant to gain hands-on exposure across invoicing, reconciliations and month-end activities within a supportive team.

This role offers hybrid working from Media City, a competitive salary up to £29,000 depending on experience plus study support, and clear progression as you develop core accounting skills and pursue AAT or related qualifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, payment processing and direct debit administration.
• Complete bank reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and resolve account queries.
• Monitor outstanding debt, support debt resolution and manage deposit protection and refunds.
• Assist with month-end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date.
• Support VAT compliance, tax requirements, statutory reporting and year-end audit preparation.
• Maintain financial procedures and support the wider team with ad hoc projects and process improvements.
