Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is hiring an Assistant Accommodation Manager to support the Accommodation Manager in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation across all parks. You will coordinate the team, assist with recruitment and training, and help ensure smooth daily operations that enhance guest experiences.

You will lead a culture of high standards, provide hands-on support where needed, and work across varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams and coordinating daily operations.
• Ability to forecast labour and plan resources.
• Leadership style that inspires and supports diverse teams.
• Willingness to access accommodation for hands-on cleaning tasks.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Confident with standard IT systems and applications.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of Accommodation team members.
• Support the Accommodation Manager with team structure and responsibilities.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and staff development support.
• Drive engagement, motivation and recognition within the team.
• Coordinate cleaning operations across all types of accommodation.
• Conduct spot checks and inspections to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Monitor daily performance and help develop improvement actions.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Guest Experience teams for check-ins and guest requests.
• Respond to guest queries professionally and resolve issues with minimal disruption.

Join us as our new Assistant Accommodation Manager, where you'll work closely with the Accommodation Manager to coordinate and support the team in delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation across all accommodation types. In this key role, you'll help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain consistently high standards, and contribute to creating an amazing experience for every guest.

What you will be doing...

• Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training Accommodation team members.
• Helping to build and maintain a positive team culture focused on high standards.
• Supporting the Accommodation Manager with team structure, role delegation, and clarity of responsibilities.
• Providing day-to-day coaching, supporting 1-2-1s, and encouraging team development.
• Supporting initiatives that drive engagement, motivation, and team recognition.
• Assisting in the daily coordination of cleaning operations across all accommodation types.
• Carrying out regular spot checks and inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
• Monitoring daily performance and helping prepare action plans to support continuous improvement.
• Working closely with Maintenance and Guest Experience teams to support check-ins, repairs, guest requests, and special requirements.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest queries, helping resolve issues with minimal disruption.

• Previous experience managing teams
• The ability and knowledge to coordinate complex daily business operations.
• Experience with forecasting labour and resource planning skills.
• A leadership style that inspires, supports, and brings out the best in diverse teams.
• The ability to access accommodation to perform checks and deliver hands‑on cleaning services as required, performing physical tasks including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods of time.
• The flexibility to be able to work across varied days including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays as required.
• Confident using standard IT systems and applications.
• A full UK driving licence.
