Sanctuary Maintenance Contractors Limited is seeking an Asset Surveyor for our Kingsmead Office in London. The role involves providing support to asset project management, disrepair and related works, managing disrepair caseloads, EPA notice actions, insurance claims, and stock condition surveys while ensuring H&S compliance.

You will undertake property inspections across stock, assist with reports, tenders, and the cyclical programme, and liaise with stakeholders to deliver on time.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified to Degree, AssocRIC, MRICS, CIOB HND or HNC in Surveying; original certificates required.
• Some experience in a building and surveying environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.
• Understanding of legislation and current practices.
• Good communication skills and data interpretation.
• Full UK driving licence required for site visits.

Asset Surveyor

London based with a balance of home and office working

£55,613 - £58,540 per year plus Company car or car allowance

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

We are looking for an Asset Surveyor to join our growing team, based in our Kingsmead Office in London. For this role you will be expected to provide support to the business for Asset project management, Disrepairs and other associated works. You would manage your Disrepair caseload effectively and within set timelines, by assessing works required, scoping and working with the contractor to deliver on time, managing EPA notice actions, investigating insurance claims and undertaking stock condition surveys. You would also be required to ensure H&S compliance at all times.

The role of Asset Surveyor will include:

• Undertaking stock condition surveys and other property inspections across a broad range of stock including health and safety assessments
• Involvement in disrepair cases, complaints, permission requests, repairs monitoring and other property related queries
• Producing reports and documentation for work specifications and tenders
• Supporting delivery of the cyclical programme, including surveys, specifications, resident consultations and liaising with other stakeholders.
• Contributing, as appropriate, to special programmes and projects in support of the Group's values and objectives

Skills and experiences:

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to Degree, AssocRIC, MRICS, CIOB HND or HNC in Surveying or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted
• Some experience in a building and surveying environment
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
• Working knowledge of legislation and current practices
• Good communication skills
• Ability to interpret computerized data
• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
