Job Summary

Our client is a leading developer, operator, and asset manager of PBSA in the UK and Ireland. They are seeking an Asset Manager in London to manage and maximize the performance of a large portfolio of PBSA assets, applying innovative & creative ideas to add value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Asset Management with implementing proactive asset management of PBSA assets in the UK and Ireland.
• Identify initiatives, formulate business plans, and implement value-add strategies to drive value throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Assist with external and internal reporting and client liaison, including weekly leasing updates, monthly updates, quarterly reports, and other reporting requirements.
• Manage and monitor appointed internal and external consultants, including operators, lawyers, and valuers.
• Conduct research to support business plans and client advice with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver fund/board recommendations.
• Implement ESG strategies aligned with company and fund objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Review and implement the Generation brand standards across all schemes.
• Understand and embed the investors’ strategy into the Asset Management Strategy.
• Assist the acquisition team during the acquisition process.

Qualifications & Qualities:

• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• MRICS qualification (preferable) with 5-10 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in asset management functions.
• Experience in operational real estate, specifically in the PBSA sector.
• Experience with repositioning and CAPEX projects is highly beneficial.
• Backgrounds from real estate consultancy, service providers, or client-side roles are acceptable.
• Ability to review and interpret cash flows.
• Open-minded, career-focused, and hardworking.
