Job Summary

Our client is a leading developer, operator, and asset manager of PBSA in the UK and Ireland. They are seeking an Asset Manager in London to manage and maximize the performance of a large portfolio of PBSA assets, applying innovative and creative ideas to add value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Asset Management with proactive asset management of PBSA assets in the UK and Ireland, including identifying initiatives, formulating business plans, and implementing value-add strategies throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Assist with external and internal reporting and client liaison, including weekly leasing updates, monthly updates, quarterly reports, and other reporting requirements.
• Manage and monitor internal and external consultants, including operators, lawyers, and valuers.
• Conduct research to support business plans and client advice.
• Prepare and deliver fund and board recommendations.
• Implement ESG strategies aligned with company and fund objectives.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing Generation brand standards across schemes.
• Understand and incorporate investors’ strategies into the Asset Management Strategy.
• Support the acquisition team during the acquisition process.

Qualifications & Qualities:

• Degree qualified in a relevant field.
• MRICS qualification preferred, with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience in asset management functions.
• Operational real estate experience, specifically in the PBSA sector, is required.
• Experience with repositioning and CAPEX projects is advantageous.
• Backgrounds may include real estate consultancy, service providers, or client-side roles.
• Ability to review and interpret cash flows.
