Solar Careers UK, a division of the solar industry's trade association Solar Energy UK, which represents 425+ solar businesses, many specializing in high-quality solar installations for domestic, commercial, and utility-scale clients, has been tasked with recruiting full-time, permanent installation teams across the UK.

The business, founded in 2007 to become a leading player in the international solar sector, is looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst / Assistant Commercial Manager to work in a hybrid setup - 2 days in London office, 3 days remote.

THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial & ESG team to refine renewable energy asset management services and systems. We seek an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst / Assistant Commercial Manager to strengthen our UK team, build efficiencies, and transform workflows. Daily tasks include managing SPV revenues, contracts, client interactions, insurance renewals, claims management, regulatory support, and ESG delivery for UK assets.

Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Managing energy sales (Power Purchase Agreements) with off-takers and UK government incentive schemes (e.g., ROC / FIT)
  • Contract management, renewals, tendering, notices, obligations related to solar farm companies (SPA, Lease, PPA, O&M, EPC, etc.), and understanding lender requirements
  • Supporting regulatory audits
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports
  • Ensuring compliance with ESG and community relations obligations
  • Managing land lease agreements and landlord relationships
  • Developing and updating data on the company's asset management platform (AMP)
  • Asset onboarding
  • Domestic travel within the UK as required

Experience & Qualifications
  • Degree in economics, social sciences, law, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy, preferably solar
