Job summary

CRS in London is seeking an experienced Asset Management Surveyor to join a growing independent property consultancy and take ownership of a diverse portfolio. You will work closely with banks, lenders and investors to protect value and performance.

The role focuses on managing commercial assets, leases and costs while developing asset management strategies with clients and specialist teams. MRICS progress toward chartership is welcome but not essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial property or asset management.
• Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters and lease management.
• Experience managing contractors, agents and multiple assets.
• Exposure to distressed property, restructuring or recovery is advantageous.
• MRICS or AssocRICS progress toward chartership would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and distressed property assets, ensuring compliance, performance and value are maintained.
• Oversee leases, rent reviews, arrears, service charges and property-related costs.
• Manage contractors, maintenance programmes, managing agents and property inspections.
• Identify opportunities to improve rental income, reduce costs and enhance asset value.
• Work closely with clients and specialist teams to develop and deliver asset management strategies.
