Job summary

Baringa is hiring for a Manager or Senior Manager to join our Asset & Operations Excellence teams. You will lead asset management transformations for energy, utilities and infrastructure clients, shaping operating models and adoption of IT/OT integrations.

You will drive risk-based and predictive maintenance improvements, advise on IBM Maximo, and manage stakeholder relationships while growing the practice through proposals and teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset management or asset-intensive operations across energy, utilities, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on involvement with asset management systems and CMMS platforms.
• Ability to bridge IT and OT, influence change governance and data ownership.
• Proven track record delivering consulting transformations with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and workshop facilitation skills.
• Awareness of emergent technologies and AI in asset management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of asset management transformations for asset-intensive clients across energy/utilities.
• Drive risk/condition based and predictive maintenance strategies to improve asset performance.
• Advise on EAM/CMMS platforms like IBM Maximo, including requirements, data migration and integrations.
• Define IT/OT governance, change control and data ownership models for reliability.
• Shape the digital/AI landscape for asset optimization.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships with commercial and delivery accountability.
• Build and coach teams, fostering an inclusive, People First culture.
• Grow the asset management practice through propositions and client relationships.
