Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Asset Investment & Performance Manager to lead investment planning for a regional asset portfolio in a hybrid Cardiff environment. The role involves governance, investment papers, and ensuring affordability and deliverability in line with long-term asset plans.

You will work with Planning, Engineering, Capital Delivery, Finance and Operations to drive evidence-based investment decisions and monitor performance to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior management experience in asset management or infrastructure investment.
• Experience developing, prioritising and governing capital investment programmes.
• Experience applying risk-based and performance-led approaches to decisions.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders in regulatory, assurance and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and prioritisation of asset investment programmes aligned with strategy and targets.
• Act as asset owner representative, providing governance through papers and gateways.
• Prioritise asset interventions using health, risk, performance and cost data.
• Sponsor capital schemes and ensure robust investment governance and oversight.
