Job summary

Gloucester City Homes Limited in Gloucester is seeking a Surveyor to support our Planned Programme. You will lead large-scale, multi-year projects to upgrade and improve our housing stock, overseeing contract delivery, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with Decent Homes standards.

The role requires strong asset management and contract administration skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and value for money.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of asset management and planned maintenance in housing.
• Understanding of building construction and surveying practices.
• Knowledge of contract administration, contractor management and public procurement.

Responsibilities

• Act as Client Representative on major partnering contracts and oversee replacements.
• Manage capital budgets (£1m+), cash flow forecasting and monthly reports.
• Inspect on-site works for quality, compliance and value for money.
• Maintain landlord health and safety responsibilities and regulations.
• Keep asset database up to date to map long-term investments.
