Job summary
Thames Water is seeking a Maintenance & Asset Data Lead to govern and improve asset master data in SAP and GIS. You will drive data quality, governance, and automation opportunities to support safe, reliable service delivery.
The role is based at Clearwater Court, Reading, with a hybrid pattern (2 days on site) and substantial stakeholder engagement. You will lead a small analytics team, shape data standards, mentor staff, and partner with Asset Operations & Capital Delivery to optimise
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of SAP or similar asset management systems.
- Ability to set and uphold data design standards, governance and quality assurance.
- Strong track record in maintaining maintenance and asset master data with improvement programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver master data management activities with data assurance.
- Own and maintain asset and work data model in SAP and GIS, including changes.
- Shape and implement MDM strategies aligned with business needs.
- Provide expert advice on data governance and planning.
- Manage workloads and mentor team members.
- Oversee data quality analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Build a centre of excellence for MDM aligned with strategy.
