The Transmission Projects team will play key roles in enabling SPEN to work at pace to deliver the transmission network that is required to achieve Scottish and UK Government 2030 targets. What you’ll be doing

As an Asset Data Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for the functions relating to SPT Asset Data forecasting, collection, collation and reporting processes for SPT Projects. You will communicate with internal and external stakeholders to determine all assets during the conceptual and basic design phases of a project and track design progress to provide a comprehensive asset register. This will include detailed component level information of Lead, and Non-lead assets at the construction, installation and commissioning phase. It will be essential for you to maintain communication with various parties to ensure verification and accuracy of the asset register in corporate systems and to ensure records are readily available for regulatory reporting.

What you’ll bring

Experience of dealing with people at varying levels across the business. Knowledge of SPT transmission network to understand engineering papers and documentation Working knowledge of Power or Industrial Processes and Document Management Systems with emphasis placed on technical assets. Proven experience of working with a big quantity of projects at the same time. Ability to analyse and present information in a logical and orderly manner. Strong admin skills inc. MS Excel spreadsheets and report writing. Understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management. Problem solving skills. The ability to work in a team environment. An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work. Developed people skills.

To be successful, as a minimum you will have to demonstrate:

Working engineering knowledge (to read engineering documentation) The ability to work with a changing workload and timescales. Computer literacy (Microsoft, SAP and database packages). Full valid UK Driving licence.
