Job summary

Home Group is seeking an experienced Data and Systems Manager to lead the Asset team in shaping how data informs investment, planning and reporting for thousands of homes. You’ll own asset data governance, build dashboards and ensure information is trusted across the business.

You’ll lead a small team, improve systems and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver clear insights, robust data processes and confident decision-making in a hybrid UK role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing asset data for property/operational use.
• Ability to implement data governance and quality controls across large datasets.
• Proven track record turning data into clear dashboards and insights.
• Strong stakeholder communication and influencing skills.
• Experience leading a small team and delivering change in complex environments.

• Salary £60,000 dependent on experience plus 34 days leaves rising to 39 (including bank holidays and a “me day”)

What You’ll Do

• Manage and improve our asset management systems, making sure data is accurate, reliable and trusted across the business
• Produce insightful reports and dashboards turning complex date into clear information to support better business decisions
• Maintain string data governance, quality controls and processes that keep property information complete, consistent and fit for process
• Enable robust investment, appraisal and planning decisions through data confidence
• Lead system, process and data improvements, providing governance and assurance that keeps our asset information accurate, compliant and fit for the future
• Lead and support a small team, creating a positive environment where colleagues develop, collaborate and deliver great outcomes

You have

• Strong experience managing complex asset, property or operational data, ensuring information is accurate, reliable and trusted by colleagues
• Good knowledge of asset management systems, stock condition data and data governance, with the ability to maintain high-quality information
• Strong analytical skills, turning complex data into clear reports, dashboards and insights that support informed decision-making
• A curious and practical approach to problem solving, with experience improving processes, systems and ways of working
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, enabling you to work confidently with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels
• A collaborative, organised and detail-focused approach, with the confidence to act as a trusted technical expert and drive positive change

The practical bits

• You’ll manage your own diary
• This is a hybrid role, so you’ll typically work two days in the office and the rest from home.
• There will be occasional travel and working from other offices in the business
