Job Description:

Purpose

The primary role involves creation and updating of Proof Test Procedures to ensure compliance with HSE requirements. The secondary role includes assisting with Asset management compliance.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

  • Understanding Process P&IDs.
  • Representing the department in Hazops as required.
  • Liaising with process engineers to expedite changeovers/project work.
  • Creating and updating Proof Tests.
  • Auditing completed proof tests for anomalies and compliance.
  • Participating in I & E audits, both internal and external.
  • Assisting with ongoing Asset Management.
  • Supporting Planning department with PM creation for changeovers.

SHEQ

  • Driving a culture of safety performance (BBS, near miss reporting, TBTs, chemical awareness, process safety management).
  • Participating in AINMs (Accident, Incident, Near Miss) reviews and evaluating the safety status of the workshop.
  • Engaging in safety management activities including routine plant safety.
  • This role is primarily office-based with possible plant exposure not exceeding 2 hours per week.
  • Complying with Procedure QA001, adhering to ISO Standards ISO 9001 (Quality), 18001 (Environmental), and 45001 (Health and Safety). Attending HSEQ training and demonstrating GMP at all times.

  • Safety: Ensuring work is carried out safely and according to company guidelines.
  • Quality: Ensuring the job is right the first time, minimizing rework by working to quality and performance standards.
  • Fault finding and improvement activities to reduce repeat equipment failures.
