Tameside Council is seeking an Assessor in Adult Services to join our Mental Health Team and conduct person-centred reviews under the Care Act 2014.
You will assess needs, develop and monitor support plans, and collaborate with professionals to ensure rights-based, safeguarding-focused practice. This 36-hour-per-week permanent role is based at Tameside One, with occasional weekends.

Salary: Grade G SCP 23 £35,570 - SCP 28 £40,444

As an Assessor, you will play a crucial role in carrying out our statutory duties under the Care Act 2014. You will review and assess the needs of adults and their carers, develop and monitor support plans, and ensure person-centred, rights-based practice. Your work will make meaningful connections with the community and individual networks, promoting an asset-based approach.
